Some thoughts on my recent training I would like to pass along. The staff at JDR Training were very professional as such things demand nothing less. Things I liked were not only the physical parts such as properly drawing your weapon but of the time you took explaining the ultimate responsibility being yours and yours alone drawing that weapon in a situation that a lightening fast, life or death decision was necessary is never be taken lightly also pointing out “the worst day of your life” might be closer than you expected because of someone else’s bad decision. With that said, I feel much more confident in properly handling that weapon as my every move was observed by the staff from drawing and sighting that weapon to safely holstering it back. This course I would say is absolutely necessary if you own a firearm for the many reasons an awesome responsibility requires.

Noah M. - Applied Violence 101 - December 10th
As a CCW holder you often tell yourself that you are ready for things to go sideways at any point in time, however this is the ego talking. Applied Violence 101 is a test of the skills you are equipped with. From tactics, stress inoculation, crowd control, and much more, you truly come out of this class with a different mindset than you walked in with. Taking this course is absolutely essential in advancing your training career as well as understanding the priority of life. Leave your ego behind and keep your mind open. Anyone can shoot a paper target, but only a select few can handle the call of reality.

Isaac D. - General Review
I have so much appreciation for the guys who make up JDR training. They teach you step by step the ways to be more efficient and are really good at working with anyone to get the step down properly. Their training will open your eyes up to where you’re at currently and they show you the best ways to be even more effective. After training with them it felt like a second home because they really do care about everyone there and they want everyone to be the best they can be. I would highly recommend to take their force on force training class then take their standard pistol training. That will show you the main things that you excel in and what you need work on better when faced with different situations.
